ARGH 2020 Power Ratings

The following are the ARGH power ratings for the fall 2020 season. Teams currently included are the 127 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams that are known to be playing a fall schedule. Needless to say, this year has been a challenge, and producing power ratings in this environment is definitely affected. This is the first set of ratings for the year with all teams connected, and you may notice some possibly unfortunate changes; additional adjustments may be forthcoming.

Big Ten added 9-20. Pac-12 and Mountain West teams other than Air Force added 10-4. MAC and Massachusetts added 10-11. New Mexico State is expected to play a spring schedule against lower division teams and will be added in a supplement after they have completed their schedule.

The estimated home field advantage is .557, or about 3.00 points for an average game. The power ratings represent the chance that the team in question has of beating an average FBS team without regard to location.
