ARGH 2020 Power Ratings

The following are the preliminary ARGH power ratings for the fall 2020 season. Teams currently included are the 90 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams that are known to be playing a full(ish) fall schedule and have schedules available, plus Air Force, who has a known two game schedule against the other service academies. The Pac-12, MAC, the rest of the Mountain West, and Massachusetts will be added once their schedules are released. At this point, I have not heard that Connecticut, New Mexico State, or Old Dominion will be playing. Needless to say, this year has been a challenge, and producing power ratings in this environment is definitely affected.

Big Ten added as of 9-20-20.

The estimated home field advantage is .560, or about 3.26 points for an average game. The power ratings represent the chance that the team in question has of beating an average FBS team without regard to location.
